Interview with Louis Colin, Sr., Co-Owner of LJC Management

Louis loves serving the Lord. He was raised in the lower ninth ward, and is one of nine children. He is a graduate of St. Augustine High School class of 1980. After graduating from St. Aug, he served six years in the Louisiana Air National Guard where he was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant.  Louis has a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice from Loyola University, and a Master's in Public Administration from Troy State University.  He is also a graduate of the FBI Academy, Quantico Virginia.

He served 26 years on the New Orleans Police Department where he retired as a Police Major in 2008. Louis is a mentor in the public schools through the Silverback Society.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the Volunteers of America SELA and the Advisory Board for the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Louisiana. He is also the National Lead Owner Operator for McDonald’s Security Team and is on the Board for the National Black McDonald’s Owners. Louis is a member of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church where Reverend Fred Luter Jr is the Senior Pastor.  He is a Licensed Minister, Trustee Board member and Sunday School teacher.

Louis, his wife and daughter are the Owner/Operators of six McDonald's Restaurants located on the Westbank of New Orleans, where they employ over 200 people.
