Interview with Voris Vigee, President & CEO of Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana

Voris Vigee serves as the President & CEO for Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana and President of Renaissance Neighborhood Development Corporation. She responsibly leads the efforts in ensuring vulnerable populations needs are met throughout Louisiana by developing innovative programming and affordable workforce housing.

Voris Vigee serves as a Board of Director for VOA, Inc. and Volunteers of America National Services. Past board member for New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute, New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center, St. Paul’s Episcopal School and other organizations.

Biz New Orleans magazine featured her on the cover of the April 2021 issue and New Orleans Magazine recognized her as one of the Top Female Achievers in May 2021. In October 2022 the New Orleans CityBusiness honored Voris in the Power 50 issue, where they profiled 50 leaders in the New Orleans area who have made overall impacts on the area’s economic development and have moved the community forward with their energy and innovative ideas.

A native of Chicago, Vigee currently resides in New Orleans, LA. with her husband Ronald Vigee and their three children. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University of Louisiana, a Master of Business Administration University of Phoenix, and Master of Nonprofit Administration from University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
